Du 10 septembre au 3 février 2008, la Commission de consultation sur les pratiques d'accommodement reliées aux différences culturelles, plus connue sous le nom de Commission Bouchard-Taylor, a sillonné le Québec pour prendre son pouls au sujet de thèmes aussi vastes et complexes que l'identité nationale, l'immigration ou encore l'intégration.En attendant le 31 mars 2008, date de remise du rapport et des recommandations résultant de cette consultation publique, Boucar Diouf a décidé de créer sa propre commission : « la Commission Boucar pour un raccommodement raisonnable».
Cette «courtepointe», comme l'auteur se plaît à nommer ce plaidoyer contre le repli identitaire, combine savamment données scientifiques, réflexions humoristiques et anecdotes du quotidien, et ravira tous les adeptes dela tolérance.

Warm But Pills

Overall the Intel Design jersey knit bed sheets are just like sleeping between a huge cotton blend t-shirt. It's soft, cozy, and warm to the touch. However after only two washings, the fabric begins to pill significantly and a lot of lint collects in the clothes dryer's lint trap. The new sheets now look five years old and stratches the skin. The warmth does provide longer periods of restful sleep. Not sure how long the fabric will last, as it appears a bit tired and worn. The initial purple color also appears noticeably duller. Good value at first, but probably will replace in a few months, so not much savings in the long run
